YORK, Pa. - Marymount women's basketball sophomore Regan Lohr was selected as the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday, becoming the third different Saint to earn the honor in the last six weeks it has been awarded.
This marks the first conference weekly honor for Lohr who was named ECAC South Rookie of the Week on Feb. 15, 2017.
Lohr helped lead the Saints to three wins last week, including two CAC victories over Southern Virginia and St. Mary's (Md.) that extended Marymount's conference win streak to nine. She led the team with 15.3 points per game while ranking second in assists with 4.0 per game. She also added 2.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals while making seven three-pointers and shooting 58.3 percent from behind the arc.
Lohr scored a career-high 25 points in the Saints' convincing CAC road win at St. Mary's on Saturday, 21 of which came in a decisive first half in which Marymount built a 20-point lead. She also had a career-high seven assists versus Shenandoah on Monday.
Marymount returns to action on Wednesday when the team travels to Salisbury for a CAC contest with the Sea Gulls beginning at 5:30 p.m.
