Coffin Tabbed CAC Men's Golfer Of The Week For First Time

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – For the first time in his career, sophomore John David Coffin of the Marymount men's golf team has been named CAC Men's Golfer of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.

Coffin is fresh off his highest finish in his collegiate career, taking third place at the Lynchburg College Invitational last week. Sitting in 17th place after an opening round of 77 (+5), he carded his first-collegiate under-par round in the final round with a 71 (-1), which was the low round of the tournament in day two, moving him 14 spots to finish third.

Coffin and the rest of the Saints are finishing up day two of the Glenn Heath Memorial today before preparing for the three-day CAC Championship next week.
